The 6th Annual Midwest Truck Nationals, held alongside the 11th Annual Square Body Gathering, takes over the Wayne County Fairgrounds on July 31 and August 1, 2026, for a full two-day celebration of everything on four wheels wearing a bowtie. Whether you’re a die-hard square body devotee or a fan of any generation of GM truck, this is your event. With a rich tradition of bringing together some of the finest GM iron from across the region, this gathering continues to grow in size, prestige, and pure automotive passion year after year.
The fun kicks off Friday evening with a cruise through town at 6:30 PM, giving participants and spectators alike a chance to see these incredible machines in motion before the main show day. Saturday ramps things up with a packed venue featuring a swap meet area, vendor show, food trucks, and exciting RC truck events that add a unique and entertaining twist for fans of all ages. The day wraps up with awards presented at 3 PM, recognizing the finest builds in attendance. With so much happening across both days, there’s never a dull moment at the Midwest Truck Nationals.
Bringing your truck? Registration is just $20 per truck, making it an affordable way to show off your build to a crowd that truly appreciates the craftsmanship and dedication that goes into these rigs. Spectators can join in the excitement for just $10 per vehicle. Camping is also available on-site, so there’s no reason not to make a full weekend out of it — arrive Friday, cruise the town, and settle in for a great night before Saturday’s main event at the Wayne County Fairgrounds.
