Our Story
Keith Klein founded OnYourMark.com LLC in 1987 as an industrial marketing company, and launched OnYourMark.com in 1994 to showcase the firm’s web design, programming, hosting and internet marketing work.
Main Street Oil grew directly out of that work. After years of building websites and marketing programs for AMSOIL dealers, Keith became an Authorized AMSOIL Dealer himself — on the straightforward theory that the best way to market a product well is to sell it yourself.
Years of exhibiting at car shows confirmed something Main Street Oil has built on ever since: the more a person knows about engines, the more interested they are in AMSOIL. There is very little selling to do. The job is helping buyers buy — which is precisely what OnYourMark had already spent a decade doing for clients on the internet.
Today Main Street Oil serves AMSOIL Preferred Customers, Retailers and Dealers, along with manufacturers, contractors, specialty retailers, professional services firms, and anyone who simply wants the right lubricant for equipment they intend to keep. Retail sales run through Luxury Auto Sales & Service at 20200 Main Street in Lannon, Wisconsin.
The roots are in Waukesha County and southeastern Wisconsin. The reach is considerably wider — Main Street Oil supports AMSOIL customers, Retailers and Dealers throughout the United States and Canada, on the ground and on the internet.
